The application window for incoming students for the 2019-2020 school year runs from August 13, 2018 to October 1, 2018. Math and Science College Preparatory is a free public charter school that does not require specific grades, or accolades for acceptance; acceptance is based purely on a lottery system. Students who are accepted will receive an acceptance letter which will be mailed home on October 2, 2019. All students who are accepted must attend the following events to remain on the acceptance list:
- Incoming Student Registration - January 2019
- Incoming Student Placement Testing - May 2019
- Parent Orientation - July 2019
- Summer Bridge - July 2019
